Infinite Essence Pilates

After being inspired by Richard Simmons on early morning TV back in the mid 1980's, then the girls on OZ Aerobics in the early 1990's, I found my passion for exercise. After many years of religiously attending every aerobics class I possibly could, I decided to enter the fitness industry professionally in 1997.

I started my career at Griffith University Nathan Campus, developing fitness programs & managing the Sports Centre which also included Tennis & Squash Court operation. Later, I transfered across to the Mt Gravatt Campus where I managed the Sports Centre which included a 25 metre swimming pool and sports hall.

After a few more years, I upgraded my skills and took up a new position with-in the university, working as a Technical Officer to the Sports Science and Physical Education Department. 10 years quickly passed & I decided on another career change and broke into the commercial gym scene working as an older adults personal trainer & group fitness instructor for Zest Health Clubs, then later accepted a position of Group Fitness Manager for Goodlife Health Clubs managing a team of 15 instructors between 2 clubs.

In 2010, I tired of the conflict and red tape in the mainstream gyms and decided to go it alone in my own private studio. This is where INFINITE ESSENCE PILATES was born.
